Quite disappointing! Not understanding the name "wholesale club"!? Misleads consumer that prices are "wholesale"?
Make the trip to Costco! Three times the value and quality! They pack it up for you!
Self Checkouts are ridiculous! Never had so many problems! Woman working there was rude and acted like I was stupid! Will never go back! Used many self checkouts and never had to scan stuff and move it to complete other side of till!
I was just there, 5 minutes ago (10:30ish am) at the self check out counter. A gentleman assisted me. I didn’t get his name, but he was by far the kindest and nicest employee I’ve met in the store. Keep him and give him a raise! Employees like him make so much difference in a costumer’s shopping experience.
This is quite possibly the most expensive grocery store I've ever visited. It was my first time there and I expected the opposite.
For example, the same coffee that I've always bought is more than double the price i normally pay at this store. $24 for a little plastic tub of coffee; i went next door to Sobeys and purchased the same one for $8.99.
$5 bag of apples, $10 and so on.
I would estimate that many items are at least 25-50% more than you'd pay elsewhere. It was bad enough that one of the other customers and i were laughing about it together and he decided to leave with nothing.
I went with the intention of doing a large scale grocery shop but left with only a few necessities to hold me over until I go elsewhere.
They can blame it on inflation etc, but it seems to particularly affect this store more than others.
Two thumbs down. Only gave a second star because the cashier was friendly. This review is as fair and as honest as i can possibly be.
A woman at the self checkout was rude and abrupt. She's usually the one working at the self checkout and she thinks she knows everything. Every chance I get I point out that she's not as smart as she wants people to believe. She's more rude than anything.
I guess managers have changed the way self checkout works. It's more work for customers and the workers. I thought it was so stupid that I can't put an empty bag on the left side but I have to put each item after scanning and how do I know how long it should stay there!!
The same rude woman is there laughing because this is the first time we've used the self checkout since the changes. It doesn't get much more stupid.
Clean store, decent prices and most of the staff are friendly. Marilyn is awesome, she is usually the highlight of my shopping experience. They always have a clearance section down in the back corner by the milk cooler. It's much cheaper than the other 2 grocery stores in town.
I will never come back to this pharmacy. My prescription wasn't accurately filled. My surgeon prescribed pain medication after My surgery. But the pharmacist made her own judgement on which medication I needed that day and gave just two of the medications in a lower dosage which contributed to me suffering in pain all night. It caused alot of inconveniences l. Very disappointed
